I started making calls 4 years ago (2017). I built custom furniture before getting in to call making. I found my grandfathers old walnut call I grew up using and just seeing it flooded me with memories as a 6 year old boy. Building furniture everything I did was by hand and heirloom quality and I wanted to make a wood call for myself since you can’t buy them like they once were made these days. I fell into the world of call making and that was all I wanted to do even when I wasn’t in the shop I was researching and constantly drawing ideas up. For whatever reason they took off much faster than I could have ever pictured I never initially planned on ever selling a call. Here I am doing it full time for going into my third year. I’ve since gotten into the decorative side of call making which has been a whole new world that really captures the art abs tradition of what I do.
