As a avid waterfowler since I been 5 yrs old I always been interested in calls. I love the heritage and history of call making and since I like working with my hands it's something I really love to do. So in 2009 i started the process of making calls. It took many  months trying to make a call that actually worked. But after many hours of frustration I believe I make a call that sounds as close to a hen mallard as possible. All my calls are hand made. My coping saw and file are my two main tools with my lathe! It's satisfying knowing that my calls one day can be past down to sons/ daughters grandchildren.
