This is a Maple Duck Call made by Boyd Martin (1886-1956) for the Janney Semple Hill & Co. of Minneapolis, MN. this Very Hard to find almost Rare Call is pictured in Doug Lodermeier's book, "Minnesota Duck Calls" page 257. Call is 4 1/2" and Reelfoot style with a metal reed. Call has 2 painted lacquer bands on the barrel. this call is in Used Condition. A Great Call to have in your collection.
